Andrea Ehrhardt with Artist Academy coordinated a trip to Arenal Springs Villas by the Lake with multiple artists to paint 2 murals within 5 days. The original plan had been to paint 2 exterior spray paint murals on the various buildings on the property. Due to torrential rains, one of the murals was not able to painted outside, so we arranged to do an indoor mural. This mural was designed as we went by 7 artists off of a photo taken on the property and during a local forest walk, then painted completely from reference photos with no scaling. I specifically worked on the bottom half, including the coati. This collaboration was such an inspiration to see artists work off of each other and create something meaningful.
